As a writer, it is important for me to depict Pakistani girls as they are, imperfect but relatable. However, there exist a few girls who wholeheartedly embrace Hijaab - not partially or intermittently, but in its entirety. These girls wear it in the presence of every non-mehram individual, even making an effort to cover themselves during weddings and other functions. These girls have their own stories - stories of joy and pain.

For those who do not wear the Shariah Niqaab, it is impossible to comprehend the trials and tribulations faced by niqaabi girls. The pain and endurance they exhibit surpasses the understanding of those who do not wear it. In the same way, a non-doctor cannot comprehend the struggles of a medical student. My intention was to write a story centered around a niqaabi girl - one that every hijaabi girl could relate to. However, "Jannat Ke Pattay" is not only about Haya (the niqaabi girl), but also about Ayeshe (a non-niqaabi who wears only hijaab) and DJ (a girl who doesn't wear either hijaab or niqaab). My message is simple: hijaabi girls should refrain from labeling non-hijaabi girls as Kaafir, idiots, or bad girls, while non-hijaabi girls should learn to respect the hijaab. It's about mutual understanding.

If a hijaabi girl doesn't attempt to understand the perspective of a non-hijaabi, how can she expect the same in return? This mutual tolerance and comprehension is crucial in becoming a better Muslim and a better human being. As a general rule, we should not judge others unless we have lived their lives.
